Endnote คือ โปรแกรมจัดการบรรณานุกรม ช่วยในการเขียนรายการอ้างอิงทั้งในเนื้อาและบรรณานุกรมท้ายเล่ม โดยรวมรวบและจัดเก็บรายการอ้างอิง (Reference) ที่ได้จากการค้นคว้าจากแหล่งข้อมูลต่างๆ สามารถสร้างเป็นโฟลเดอร์แบ่งประเภทได้อีกด้วย
ซึ่งมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรมีการบอก Endnoteในเวอร์ชั่น 20 และได้เวอร์ชั่น 21 มาให้บริการแล้ว โดยสิ่งอัพเดท คือ
- Feature ใหม่ ที่ใช้ในการทำวิจัย เช่น
a. การ share library ให้กับอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา หรือ ทีมวิจัย
b. Share ข้อมูลกับฐาน web of science - การฝังโปรแกรมใน MS word จะมีเมนู manuscript matcher สามารถหาข้อมูลว่าบทความควรส่งไปตีพิมพ์ที่วารสารไหน โดยการเชื่อมโยงกับ WOS
- สามารถดึงข้อมูลวารสารใน WOS โดยไม่ต้องบอกรับเป็นสมาชิก ผ่านการใช้งาน endnote online
- การใช้งาน endnote สามารถเอาคำทั้งหมด รวม ref ไปค้นข้อมูลใน WOS ได้ว่าอยู่ในวารสารไหน โดยดูจากปริมาณความหนาแน่น / ความถี่ของคำ
- การแก้ไขปัญหาการแสดงผลภาษาไทย
- สามารถเพิ่ม Tag ในการอ้างอิงได้
- หากมีการติดตั้งโปรแกรม EndNote เวอรชั่นก่อนหน้า EndNote21 ให้ถอนการติดตั้งออกก่อน
- ปิดโปรแกรม Microsoft Office เช่น Word, PowerPoint, Outlook ก่อนทําการติดตั้ง EndNote21
